Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Anycards collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Anycards mobile app, websites, hosted services, game systems, card crafting tools, and related features (the "Service"). "Anycards," "we," "us," and "our" mean Automatics Games Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, which is the data controller for the Service.
In short: we collect the information needed to run an online multiplayer card game, including account details, game data, chat messages, generated cards, purchase records, device/app diagnostics, analytics events, and push notification tokens. We do not sell personal information and we do not run third-party advertising in Anycards.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
When you create or use an account, we collect information such as your Firebase user ID, sign-in provider, email address when provided by your sign-in method, display name, username confirmation status, signup platform, profile thumbnail card, account timestamps, and authentication state. If you use Apple or Google sign-in, those providers may share account identifiers and profile information according to their own settings and policies.
Game and profile information
We collect and store gameplay information such as your deck, card collection, card instances, game memberships, game names, join codes, player names, messages, card plays, scores, daily game attempts, streaks, rewards, pennies, craft credits, collection capacity, game history, unread activity, and leaderboard information. Some profile and game information, including display name, score, profile thumbnail, game messages, played cards, generated cards, and game results, is visible to other players in relevant game contexts.
Messages and Player Content
We collect the content you submit through the Service, including chat messages, game names, card-crafting inputs, selected card concepts, generated card text, generated card images, and sharing metadata. Do not submit private, sensitive, or confidential information in chat or crafting prompts.
AI crafting and moderation information
When you use card crafting, we process your crafting input, relevant game/card context, generated concepts, moderation signals, generated card data, generated images, job status, failure codes, and operational logs needed to create the card, apply safety rules, prevent abuse, and debug the crafting system. We may send crafting inputs and related context to Google Cloud generative AI services, such as Gemini and image-generation models, to provide the feature.
Purchases and virtual item records
If you make an in-app purchase, we collect purchase-related records needed to verify and grant the purchase, such as product ID, platform, transaction ID, original transaction ID, purchase token, receipt data, grant status, duplicate status, currency or capacity granted, and related audit logs. Apple App Store or Google Play processes your payment and may collect billing information under their own policies. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Device, app, security, and notification information
We collect technical information such as platform, app version/build, Firebase installation identifiers, App Check or device attestation signals, push notification tokens, a locally generated device ID for notification token management, IP addresses and server logs processed by our hosting and backend providers, rate-limit records, and security or abuse-prevention signals. If you enable notifications, we store Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens so we can send game activity notifications.
Analytics and diagnostics
We use Firebase/Google Analytics to understand app usage and improve Anycards. Events may include app/session activity, sign-in method, tutorial progress, game creation and completion, share starts, settings changes, deck actions, crafting actions, purchase starts and completions, restore actions, and collection-limit events. Analytics events are designed to measure product behavior rather than chat content.
Information stored on your device
The app may store local settings and cache data on your device, such as sound/radio preferences, reveal state, image cache data, authentication state, and the local notification device ID. Removing the app or clearing app data may delete some local data but does not automatically delete server-side account data.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- create and manage accounts, profiles, authentication, and display names;
- run multiplayer, practice, tutorial, and daily games;
- store and display decks, collections, cards, messages, scores, leaderboards, and rewards;
- provide AI card crafting, concept generation, image generation, moderation, and safety checks;
- verify purchases, grant Virtual Items, restore purchases, prevent duplicate grants, and investigate fraud;
- send game activity notifications and manage unread activity;
- secure the Service, enforce rules, rate-limit requests, detect abuse, and prevent unauthorized access;
- analyze usage, debug issues, measure performance, and improve features;
- respond to support, privacy, legal, and safety requests;
- comply with law, app-store requirements, and enforceable legal process.
3. How We Share Information
Other players
Other signed-in players may see information needed for gameplay, such as your display name, score, profile thumbnail card, game membership, game messages, played cards, generated cards, and game results. Games that are waiting or active may be readable by signed-in users as needed for join-code lookup and gameplay.
Service providers
We share information with service providers that help us operate Anycards, including Google Firebase and Google Cloud services for authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Hosting, App Check, Cloud Messaging, analytics, and generative AI services; Apple and Google for sign-in, app distribution, payment processing, purchase validation, and platform services; and operating-system sharing or notification services when you use those features.
User-directed sharing
If you use a share button, the app may generate an image of a card, deck, or battle result and pass it to the sharing options on your device. The destination you choose may collect and use that shared content under its own policy.
Legal, safety, and business reasons
We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, enforce our Terms, investigate fraud or security issues, protect players or the public, or complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
No sale of personal information
We do not sell personal information. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs in Anycards at this time.
4. AI Feature Notice
Card crafting uses generative AI. Your crafting inputs and relevant game/card context may be processed by Google Cloud generative AI services to generate concepts, text, images, tags, and safety/moderation outputs. Do not include personal, confidential, or sensitive information in prompts. We may retain crafting job records and generated cards to operate the game, resolve failures, prevent abuse, and preserve game history.
5. Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain your account, preserve game records, operate purchases, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms, prevent fraud or abuse, and maintain security. Examples:
- account and private profile data is generally kept while your account is active;
- game records, messages, generated cards, and results may remain to preserve multiplayer history and game integrity;
- purchase ledgers and receipt records may be kept for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, refund, and app-store compliance reasons;
- security, rate-limit, analytics, and operational logs are kept for limited periods based on operational need and provider settings;
- backup copies may persist for a limited period after deletion before being overwritten.
6. Account Deletion and Privacy Requests
You can delete your account from within the app. See our Account Deletion page for details, including how to request deletion if you can no longer access the app.

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including Firebase security rules, authenticated access, App Check for callable functions, rate limiting, access controls, and encryption provided by Firebase and Google Cloud services. No online service is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
Anycards is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact support@anycards.app so we can review and take appropriate action. 11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as posting the updated policy, updating the effective date, or providing in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after the updated policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated policy.
