Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Anycards, including the Anycards mobile app, websites, hosted services, game systems, card crafting tools, and related features (together, the "Service"). "Anycards," "we," "us," and "our" mean Automatics Games Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.
By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Anycards. If you are under the age of majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you. Parents and guardians are responsible for a minor's use of the Service, including purchases made through the account or device.
2. Your Account
You may sign in using Apple, Google, email, or other account methods we support. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity on your account. Your username, score, selected profile card, game participation, and some game activity may be visible to other signed-in players.
Usernames, profile selections, game names, and other public-facing account details must not impersonate others, mislead players, infringe rights, or include offensive or private information. We may rename, restrict, suspend, or remove accounts or content when needed to operate the Service, enforce these Terms, protect players, or comply with law.
3. The Game and Virtual Items
Anycards is an async multiplayer card game. The Service may include cards, generated cards, deck slots, pennies, craft credits, boosters, collection limit upgrades, streaks, scores, rewards, and other digital features (collectively, "Virtual Items").
Virtual Items are a limited, personal, revocable license to use digital features in Anycards. They are not money, property, stored value, or a right to cash or refund. They may not be sold, transferred, rented, traded outside the Service, redeemed for money, or used for gambling. We may balance, modify, replace, remove, or discontinue Virtual Items and game rules as the Service evolves.
Some game modes can award, consume, sell, remove, or transfer cards or currencies according to the rules shown in the app.
4. Purchases and Refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, or another authorized payment platform. We do not receive your full payment card details. You must use the payment methods authorized in the app and by the app store for your platform.
Unless required by law or by the applicable app-store rules, purchases of Virtual Items are final and non-refundable once delivered. If you have a billing problem, contact the payment platform first because it controls the payment, refund, and chargeback process. We may reverse grants, suspend purchases, or restrict accounts if we detect fraud, abuse, unauthorized payment activity, or purchase reversals.
5. Player Content
"Player Content" means content you create, submit, generate, send, display, or share through Anycards, including chat messages, game names, usernames, card-crafting inputs, selected concepts, generated card names, card text, and shared game images.
You keep any rights you have in your Player Content. You grant Anycards a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, display, transmit, moderate, adapt, create derivative works from, and otherwise use Player Content as needed to operate, protect, improve, and promote the Service. This license continues for content that has been shared with other players, included in completed games, included in generated cards, or retained for safety, legal, or operational reasons.
Do not submit confidential information, payment details, government IDs, sensitive personal information, or private information about anyone else in chat or card-crafting prompts. Other players in your games may see your messages, played cards, generated cards, and game results.
6. AI Card Crafting
Anycards may use generative AI services to help create card concepts, names, descriptions, stats, tags, images, and related game content from your crafting inputs and game context. AI output can be inaccurate, unexpected, repetitive, unsafe, or similar to existing content. We do not guarantee that a crafted card will be unique, available, accurate, suitable for every audience, or accepted by our moderation systems.
We may reject, block, revise, remove, or refuse to generate content that appears unsafe, abusive, illegal, infringing, exploitative, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, or otherwise inconsistent with Anycards. You may not use AI crafting to create or request content that violates these Terms or another person's rights.
7. Rules of Conduct
You agree not to:
- harass, threaten, abuse, dox, exploit, or harm another person;
- post hate speech, sexual content, graphic violence, illegal content, or private personal information;
- infringe copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights;
- cheat, automate play, manipulate scores, exploit bugs, use bots, or interfere with fair play;
- attack, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, bypass, or interfere with the Service or its security systems;
- sell, buy, rent, transfer, or share accounts or Virtual Items outside Anycards;
- use Anycards for advertising, spam, scams, phishing, gambling, betting, or commercial activity without our written permission;
- use the Service in a way that violates law, sanctions, export controls, app-store rules, or these Terms.
8. Moderation and Enforcement
We may monitor, review, preserve, remove, restrict, or disclose Player Content and account information when we believe it is reasonably necessary to operate the Service, enforce these Terms, protect players, investigate abuse or security issues, respond to support requests, or comply with law. We are not required to pre-screen all content, and you may encounter content from other players that you find objectionable.
9. Ownership
Anycards and its software, designs, game systems, rules, data, artwork, logos, trademarks, card templates, generated game content, and other materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, we reserve all rights.
If you believe content in Anycards infringes your rights, contact us at support@anycards.app with enough information for us to review the issue.
10. Third-Party Services
Anycards depends on third-party services such as Apple, Google, Firebase, Google Cloud, analytics, push notification, payment, sign-in, sharing, and app-store services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.
11. Updates, Availability, and Changes
The Service may change over time. We may add, remove, rebalance, suspend, or discontinue features, game modes, content, Virtual Items, prices, or access to the Service. We may also require updates to keep using the Service. The Service may be unavailable or interrupted for maintenance, outages, security reasons, or issues outside our control.
12. Termination
You may stop using Anycards at any time. You can request account deletion within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk or liability, infringed rights, misused purchases, or used the Service unlawfully or abusively. Termination may cause you to lose access to your account, game progress, Virtual Items, and Player Content.
13. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anycards is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or free from harmful components, or that generated content will meet your expectations.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anycards and its operators, affiliates, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost Virtual Items, loss of goodwill, or service interruption. Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid to Anycards through the Service in the six months before the claim or USD $100.
15. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under laws that cannot be waived, including consumer protection laws, app-store rules that apply to your purchase, or privacy rights described in our Privacy Policy.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, without limiting mandatory consumer protections or venue rights available where you live. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us at support@anycards.app so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as posting the updated Terms, updating the effective date, or providing in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective means you accept them.
